The Walking Trees create cinematic, timeless, nostalgic and in moments, lucid poetry infused blues rock. The band are comprised of friends spread across the UK ; Loic Williams, Max Mawdsley, Alessi Laurent-Marke (Alessi’s Ark) and Jason Santos. The Trees worked closely with Christoph Skirl (Tom Misch, Yusseff Dayes, Magic Gang, Duke Special) at Echo Zoo studios in Eastbourne, and take the listener on a journey through space and time where influences such as The Doors, Gil Scot-Heron and beat poetry are felt through the pulse of their sound.
